Key Responsibilities:

  •  Mechanical type assembly using various hand & power tools
  • Read, comprehend, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications and other written instructions to accurately assemble products
  • Perform quality testing/inspecting to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
  • Identify product defects and report on issues
  • Rework and/or repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes

 

About you:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly regarded
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and blueprints for complex and standard product assembly.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Focus on quality control
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Full drivers licence required

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts and products using various tools and machinery
  • Confidence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Perform precision measurements and quality inspections to meet specifications
  • Operate cutting, bending and forming machines to shape metal components
  • Ability to set up and operate machine tools and other equipment used in the production process
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance

 

About you:

  • Proven experience as a sheetmetal worker (Certificate III in Fabrication is highly desirable)
  • Experience fabricating with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel
  • Strong knowledge of sheetmetal materials and fabrication techniques
  • Confidence in operating various sheet metal machinery and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking
  • Passion to work in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the latest Bystronic machines and automation
  • Safely load and unload materials into the press
  • Monitor press machine to ensure they are running efficiently and make adjustments as needed
  • Inspect materials for quality and accuracy
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
  • Organised and thorough in all aspects of work with a high attention to detail
  • Assisting other areas of manufacturing as required

 

About you:

  • Proven experience as a press operator or in a similar position
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • High attention to detail and strong willingness to produce high-quality work
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Sheetmetal fabrication experience is desirable, not essential
  • SolidWorks experience is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Hold a current forklift licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repairs of machinery and equipment
  • Use of manual Milling Machines
  • Ability to take on more complex tasks as required
  • Excellent skills and experience in Lathe work
  • Maintenance testing of complex machinery and mechanisms
  • Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
  • Problem solving
  • Opportunity to travel for onsite service/breakdowns/installations

 

About you:

  • Recognised trade qualifications (1st class Machinist, Fitter Machinist)
  • Competent in all facets of conventional machining (Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding)
  • Proven technical competency in CNC machine operation
  • An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment
  • Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and team working skills
  • Openness to travel, if/when required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed designs in SolidWorks of our standard parts and product range
  • Building SolidWorks models that match manufacturing processes and incorporate common components
  • Preparing production ready 3D models and produce 2D documentation, with all necessary details required for production, inclusive of manufacturing and welding annotations
  • Liaise with relevant parties to understand the manufacturing process
  • Ability to work within strict project deadlines, while producing high standards and exceeding expectations

 

About you:

  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Drafting or proven experience
  • Mechanical Drafting with 5 years experience (desirable)
  • Experienced user of SolidWorks 3D modelling/drafting
  • An aptitude for mechanical equipment and heavy or light fabrication
  • Prior experience in fabrication, sheet metal, agricultural industries is advantageous
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Proven ability to problem solve, with a high attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
